This weekend me and my family watched "Martial Child" movie with John Cusack actor. I love watching his movies because of the It was very well made with awesome storyline, acting and picture. Some scenes was extremely very well composed which most movies of today lack, among other things... Last year I have seen so many movies which was made based on a truly great stories with so much potential, but they got slaughtered by either bad directing or acting.

Martian Child movie is about a young widow writer (John Cusack) who after 2-3 years of his wife's death decides to continue what they were planning to do; adopt a child. So after a lot of doubt he decides to throw himself into this adventure of raising not just any child but a troubled one. So during the move they both go through various discoveries about each other and nonetheless themselves. That should hold it, I don't want to spoil the movie for you by giving you too much information ^^

Just to give an example how interesting the movie was; When me and my family watch a "normal movie" my brother in law starts watching the movie then fall a sleep and then he wakes up usually 5 minutes before the movie ends. Watching Martial Child he was awake for the _full_ duration of the movie haha.

Sweet Monday

I don’t usually write about stuff on day to day basis, it’s more of an impulse thing for me. Anyways, today went on as expected, more or less. As usual I end up talking to friends until late morning (or should I say “early morning”;) barely managing to get two hours sleep before work… zzzzz zOmbie!

For some reason this did not affect the unusual cherry mood of mine. Can’t say the weather didn’t help; going from rainy, cloudy, depressive crap gray mood to an awesome sunny day. Still a bit chill but not too much. Enough for me to take advantage of this opportunity and visit the beautiful area around the coast. I watched some horse riding competitions and had a nice half-warm china meal by the sea, fully enjoying the low-angle forceful sun which was completely determined to make people happy.

PS! I have submitted my first Deviation: Pathway to Shangri-La check it out at:

New start

Journal Entry: Sun Sep 16, 2007, 8:48 AM
After a long vacation from the photography and all things related to computers I’ve decided to give it a long waited kick ^^. I have purchased a new one year subscription on DevArt and I’m planning to bring back my broken HDDs online and see if I can get back my photos… wish me luck :) Also I wish to apologize to my friends for my sudden disappearance from the “online world” as I like to call it hehe.

In the past as I was using DeviantArt and Photosig almost every day I started having problems with keeping up with everything that was going on, keeping my photos updated on three different sites, checking friends journals and their artwork etc. The way I am; I can’t put someone in friend list (watch list… or whatever you call it now these days) and then don’t bother checking what they are doing on a regular basis :P As the time went on watch list started getting really long and at the same time “to do list” was getting more time consuming (with 300+ active people on the list, posting something almost every day on a regular basis, well you can draw your own conclusions). Together with some real life issues and responsibilities, it became too much and something had to give in…

Anyways, now I am back, but this time I will try to go easy with everything. So see ya around :)

Bizarre Day

Journal Entry: Wed Oct 27, 2004, 6:35 PM
Huh, talk about having a weird day.

So much weird things have been happening to me today. First, last night there was this 10000hit on Natascha Röösli’s ([link]) site. I missed it and made the hit 10 001, almost got it, sooo close :( If there is something I hate the most, then being number 2 would be IT hehe.

Anyways, today I decide to get on a bus and go on a little trip to one of the beaches here. First I missed the first bus driving like 10 meters from me, so I had to wait for another half an hour. I was ok with that, used to waiting. It was the first thing I learned when I came to Norway, the mastership of waiting in line.
So I catch the next bus and then get to the beach like 15 mins too late. I was planning to capture the sunset and every second that passed by was the second I couldn’t afford wasting. Ok there was still some sun left so I took some photos of that.
Next, I hear the helicopter coming at very low altitude right from the sun’s position. Ohh, so exciting; at that moment the image was already composed in my mind. Just like from the movies, helicopter silhouette in the sunset… “this is going to be perfect!” so I thought. I was standing there, rechecked the lightning balance, ISO, shutter speed, f/stop… everything, I was ready to take the shot any time now. The helicopter came and I hit the fire button but nothing happened. I was like “ooooh bloody hell!!! wtf just happened!?!?!?.” I turned the camera and there was the message blinking “Full CF!”. My compact flash card was full lol. Talk about bad timing.
Ok, after a couple of minutes I calmed down and headed back to the bus station with the creepy yellow full moon hovering over my head. Approaching it and thinking “ok, I am such a “peh”, if this whatever it is continues, the bus is going to drive right by me”. Three seconds later the bus blazed right by my horrified face, gone with the wind!!! LOL!

Luckily when I got back home, Jason “deviant: Bensaret ([link])” who won the initial 10000hit at Natascha’s site passed his winning commission to me. Since I was the 10 001hit one :) Such a generous gesture indeed! That kinda made the finale of my day even stranger but at least it ended up on a positive note. What a relief hehe.

Aight, it’s very late now All Saints aren’t able to keep me awake any longer. So good night all you wonderful people :)

New photo equip. HiHi :)(:

Journal Entry: Wed Oct 6, 2004, 5:40 PM
My new photo equipment just arrived for about 4 days ago :) A brain new Canon 20D and the beautiful Canon 17-40L with other stuff. My first pro camera, the first time ever I have held such a camera in my hands… Looks like there will be many more of those “first timers” in the future. And damn, talk about speed! ZiP-ZaP-ZiPz-Zap 2 secs and I have taken 10 pictures lol. The best part though is that everything works within the specified parameters hehe. Took me a while to figure everything out, got the feeling that I have just "scratched the surface".
Feeling kinda intimidated as well, not sure if I will be able to stand up to the expectations. No longer I will be able to use the good old excuse when the picture doesn’t turn out the way it was supposed to; "It wasn’t my fault, it was the camera! Not me!". ^^

Anyways, I haven’t updated my journal for a while. No particular reason, just didn’t feel for it. Have been writing journal entries in my all-around book though but my lazy ass didn’t feel like writing them all over again on my computer.

Thing have been good the last couple of weeks. My apartment lease just got renewed for another three years. Yay! (gotta hate moving) At last I managed to throw away my broken TV. Must say, it’s liberating not having the television in the house! Took me a couple of weeks to adjust though but after that the life just got even more peachy ;) Much more free time to spend on other more productive things in life as well. No way will I be getting a new one any time soon. My friends are like “w00t!?!?! You don’t have a TV anymore!?!? How will you survive?”. Guess I just will :)

Started yesterday with some more throwing stuff. Thorough cleaning of my crib and getting rid off things I rarely or never use (didn’t know I had so much crap hidden in those shady corners, lurking). Need to free some space since I will try to turn it partially into photo-studio of some sort. Not quite sure what that will involve but one thing is certain. There will be a lot of improvisation in works hehe.

Aight, its 1am… gotta blaze, things to do, people to meet…in my dreams…have some fun! Will you be there as well? ^^
Huggles.
